Summary : An assay shows the importance of the vaccination of puppies against canine parainfluenza virus to protect them against clinical signs of the multifactorial kennel cough. Vaccinated puppies excreted the challenge virus for a shorter while and did not show clinical signs following a challenge with both parainfluenza virus and Bordetella bronchiseptica.
