Title : Infectious bovine rhinotracheitis : incidence in La Réunion Island.

Summary : A serological survey has been carried out in 1987 to assess the incidence of infectious bovine rhinotracheitis in La Réunion island. 930 sera were tested by the passive hemagglutination technique. 47,9 p. 100 of cattle were positive, with often high antibody titers, and 65 p. 100 of breedings units were found contaminated. The main risk factors seemed : breeding unit size, meat production, natural mating and peesence of imported cattle in the unit.
