Title : Prevalence of bovine onchocerciasis in Southwest of France

Summary : A survey on the prevalence of bovine onchocerciasis was carried out in the southwest of France. Among 654 samples of bovine skin examined, 364 revealed positive dermal microfilariae. A seasonal fluctuation was observed. The prevalence increased from 3 years old animal and did not decreased thereafter.
