Authors : D. TAINTURIER, F. FIENI, J.F. BRUYAS, V. BELOEIL, A. LYOEN avec la collaboration technique de G. CHATAGNON et N. DARDENNE
Summary : In a flock of 40 dairy cows, fertility has been deteriorating since several years, after consumption of mouldy aliments. In most cases, cows showed anti-Candida antibodies and seemed allergic to this yeast. In eight cows, a desensitization at the end of pregnancy diminished the calving to conception interval to 75 days (8/8 cows became pregnant). In control animals, this interval was around 127 days.
Keywords : Candida - infertility- desensitization - cow.
