Authors : J.F. GUELFI et C. TRUMEL avec la collaboration technique de E. FOURCADE, D. THEVENET et C. ESPIE
Summary : Results obtained by the QBC VetAutoread were compared with results obtained by the manual methods. Good correlations, were observed for hematocrit, hemoglobinemia and leucocyte count in dogs, cats and horses and for platelet coun t in dogs and cats. In addition, QBC VetAutoread assessed the reticulocytes count in dogs and cats and eosinophils count in dogs. The results obtained were in good agreement with the results obtained by matinal methods. The QBC VetAutoread, the use and the maintenance of which are very easy, can be profitably used in veterinary clinics.
