| Summary : | All 132 strains of Pasteurella hemolytica examined show unusually large (> 1400 bp) ITS sequences in their rRNA genes. The 93 "A" biotype strains have somewhat larger ITSs than the 39 "T" biotype strains. This observation provides a convenient means of distinguishing these species within the pasteurellae. |
