Title :	Humoral immunity in cats infected by the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (F.I.V.) : responses against rabies, parvovirus, herpesvirus and calicivirus.

Summary :	Sixty six stray cats were tested for infection by the FIV. Their humoral immune response has been followed for 12 weeks after vaccination against rabies, feline parvovirus, herpesvirus and calicivirus. No differences were found between FIV-infected and non-infected cats. Besides their importance on clinical, prognostic and vaccinal points, these results show that cats behave as HIV-infected children, and improve the importance of FIV as a model in comparative pathology.
