Summary :	Bacterial sytematics is perpetually changing, owing to a never-ending increase of knowledge on the bacterial world. During 1995, many changes, corrections or additions have been published in the International Journal of Systematic Bacteriology, the official publication of the International Committee on Systematic Bacteriology. This review sums up the recent changes of veterinary importance.
