Title : Cutaneous cysticerosis in a dog : clinical case.

Summary : The authors describe a case of subcutis cysticercosis due to Cysticercus longicollis, larvae of Taenia crassiceps in a 15 years old castrated dog. The macroscopical lesion looks like an abscess on the lateral face of left knee. The abscess contains a yellowish secretion with a lot of cysticerci and protoscolex. Modes of infection, diagnosis of Taenia crassiceps, therapeutics and zoonotic risk are considered.
