Title :	New taxons of veterinary interest during 1997. A review

Summary :	Bacterial sytematic is perpetually changing, owing to a never-ending increase of the knowledge on the bacterial world. During 1997, many changes, corrections or additions have been published in the International Journal of Systematic Bacteriology. This journal is the official organ of the "International Committee on Systematic Bacteriology" and it is the only journal in which names can be validly published. This review sums up the recent changes of veterinary importance.
